Dino Rivals Quetzalcoatlus Figure Lands in Malaysia

By May 8, 2019August 14th, 2019News

Something BIG has been spotted in the skies in Malaysia. Mattel’s upcoming Mega Dual Attack Quetzalcoatlus briefly became available online in the Southeast Asian country and Muhamad A. managed to capture one of the elusive flying reptiles for himself. In the photos he shared on Paddock 9 Collecting (an excellent Facebook group—do check it out!) it looks absolutely massive, even larger than some of Mattel’s bigger Pteranodon toys. The imposing size of this figure feels scientifically accurate compared to the real-life Quetzalcoatlus, as well as its long neck and plumage. A vibrant paint application rounds out what looks to be another incredible release from Mattel this year, giving us serious tropical bird vibes.

Who else can’t wait for Mega Dual Attack Quetzalcoatlus? We’ve posted a few of Muhamad’s photos below to tide you over. Until then, stay up to date with Collect Jurassic on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

  • Looks amazing, very eager to add this one right away to my collection. It’s awesome how Mattel is focusing on lesser-known species and also re-visiting the rarer ones from the Kenner days such as the Quetzalcoatlus and Carnotaurus.
